Introduction
Football Fans, welcome to Kickoff3pm football auction site, the only professional football auction. We aim to feed money to grass roots football and other football charities when established, but first a great deal needs to be done to build the site up. We need regular buyers and sellers and that's where you come in. If you already sell on an auction site, you can save money selling on kickoff3pm.co.uk. If you collect then bookmark our site and include it as part of your regular search routine for those items you need. At the moment we are not suggesting our auction is an alternative, that would be silly to say as we don't have the money to invest. But it can be another option and already, while beta testing the site, some regular ebay sellers have said they intend to use the site and support our efforts to make it an alternative.
The site has many features we think will help both buyers and sellers of football items. For those collectors who prefer not to deal with money we also have an item exchange option.
About the Auction
You'll notice a lot of items listed for long periods, up to 30 days. But don't let that stop you placing a bid because on the first bid "end time" is adjusted ( the bidders will wait no more then 7 days for a result).
Apart from that the workings of the auction are much the same as other auction sites but we've spent a long time customising things like category lists to be far easier to navigate. Within each category the are sub-categories to make finding items a lot quicker;

We have dedicated pages for the most collectable football items; things like FA cup, World Cup and England Internationals all have their own categories and sub-categories. We want to make it easy and we are happy to add to these should you want more..
Apart from time saved searching and it's much more friendly to the sellers, as they can sort their items very easy into these categories and then simply use our bulk uploader to list 100s of items in minutes.
We want to be here for a long time and so have to take a realistic view on fees. Having had over ten years experience selling football memorabilia at football4sale.co.uk, we understand the problems and the pitfalls for collectors and dealers. We have designed our fees so people can list items and get used to the system.
Currently you can list any football item free if the start price is less them £10.00. - This should cover most things we hope you'll agree, if don't tell us in the forum.
If your items sells you won't be charged a final value fee unless it sells for more then £10.00. - Again we feel this will cover most things that might be listed in bulk.
We do charge for those extras that some sellers might want - bold, extra exposure, another image or category and we levy a validation fee to all sellers.
We allow people to bid, buy & sell with verification - For this reason we advise people not to list,bid or buy items over £50. Both buyers & Sellers can claim to be verified free or by going though the verification process. The verification process verifies both name and address but does not if any warrantee of trust. In reality no marketplace can give this, we are just honest about it.
